ERAGON: A SUMMARY

The first part of Eragon occurred when Eragon, a fifteen-year old farmboy, went hunting in the Spine, a mountain range that is fraught with mystery and danger. There, while hunting deer, a bright flash erupted somewhere in the forest, bringing with it a blue stone that was as precious as a jewel. Eragon brought it to Carvahall, at his uncle's house, to see if Uncle Garrow would be able to sell it. Unfortunately, his uncle could not do so. This made Eragon attempt to sell the stone to the local butcher, Sloan. surprisingly, Sloan was angered by the fact that the stone came from the Spire. The two nearly fought, but they were interrupted by Horst, the blacksmith. The series of unfortunate events led Eragon, Uncle Garrow, and his cousin, Roran, to wait until the tradesmen arrived. When the caravans arrived, Eragon discovered that the stone was acrually an egg.... More info next time I post something.
